Endometriosis Clinic

At P. D. Hinduja Hospital & Medical Research Centre, the Dedicated Endometriosis Clinic is designed to provide focused, compassionate, and specialised care for women experiencing symptoms related to endometriosis.

Endometriosis often goes undiagnosed for years despite significantly impacting a woman’s daily life, emotional wellbeing, and fertility. Our clinic brings together expert consultants, advanced diagnostic support, and multidisciplinary care to help women receive timely evaluation and personalised treatment under one roof.

From severe period pain and chronic pelvic discomfort to fertility concerns and heavy bleeding, the clinic aims to support women through every stage of diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.

One of the key highlights of the clinic is that patients not only receive consultation from the endometriosis consultant, but also undergo ultrasound sonography performed directly by the consultant for a more focused evaluation.

over and above the package offerings, the Dedicated Endometriosis Clinic also offers comprehensive evaluation and multidisciplinary support in the same premises including:

  • Specialist consultation with experienced laparoscopic gynaecologists
  • Ultrasound sonography performed directly by the specialist
  • Advanced diagnosis and imaging support
  • Laparoscopic expertise for endometriosis management
  • Pain management programmes
  • Physiotherapy consultation
  • Nutrition consultation
  • Fertility-focused guidance and counselling
  • Personalised treatment planning

(Please note that the above services are not included in the package)

Endometriosis is a condition in which tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus. This may affect the ovaries, fallopian tubes, pelvic lining, and surrounding organs, leading to inflammation, pain, and other complications.

Common symptoms of endometriosis may include:

  • Severe period pain
  • Chronic pelvic pain
  • Heavy menstrual bleeding
  • Pain during or after intercourse
  • Bloating and fatigue
  • Difficulty conceiving
  • Pain during bowel movements or urination during periods

Endometriosis affects approximately 1 in 9 women and is often misunderstood or dismissed as “normal period pain,” leading to delayed diagnosis. Early evaluation and treatment can help prevent disease progression, protect fertility, and improve quality of life.
