From the moment you enter P.D. Hinduja Hospital, Khar, you will receive personalised attention from our vibrant Customer Care Executives (CCE). Not limited just at the time of admission, but throughout your stay at our hospital. Please approach the CCE for any queries related to hospital services, such as rehabilitation rooms, restaurants, transportation, salon, notary and fax.
We care for the comfort of our patients' relatives and well wishers as much. The entire hospital is Wi-Fi enabled, to help you stay connected to the world outside, via laptop computers and ipads. Simply fill in a request form (available with Customer Care), and provide your personal identification details.
In a space-starved city like Mumbai, Valet Parking is a luxury.
Our 24*7 valet service, housed a tower with car elevators, is located behind our OPD (Marvella) building to maximise space. Although a strict check is carried out on cars for security reasons, parking is at the owner's risk, and the hospital shall not be held liable for loss of/damage to any property.
A convenient self-service refreshment counter with snack vending machine is available in the lobby just to fill mid-meal cravings.
Specially designed rehabilitation rooms for you and your attendants provide the homely environment to recuperate in privacy. A spacious floor houses suites and deluxe rooms, complemented by a lush green terrace that provides a quiet sanctuary to take in some fresh air, walk, meditate or simply enjoy peace and quiet.
Consumption of alcohol, cigarettes, chewing gum and tobacco, as well as spitting, is strictly prohibited in the interest of our patient's health, and to maintain the hospital's hygiene standards. Toilets are kept clean and dry on a regular basis, and dustbins are used for waste disposal. In-patient rooms are cleaned at regular intervals. For any additional assistance, please press the call bell to summon housekeeping, or inform the nursing station.
At HHS, dieticians take care of a patient's food, which decided as per the physician's treatment and prescription. The hospital kitchen serves well-balanced vegetarian meals, and offers a nine-course patient menu to all room categories. Anything ordered apart from the menu, will be additionally charged. Outside food and non-vegetarian food is strictly prohibited, both for patients, and their attendants or relatives. All our food is transported on unique Burlodge ready-to-serve trolleys, engineered with individual hot and chilled sections to keep the food at an ideal temperature.
The hospital provides freshly laundered bed and bath linen. All patients must wear hospital clothes, and are advised to keep one set of their own clothes in the wardrobe. We encourage patient's attendants also to use linen provided by us.
Each room is provided with a television. We only request you to control the volume and avoid disturbance to other patients.
In case of emergency, house phones on the ground floor connect to in-patient rooms. Outgoing calling facilities (local and STD) are also provided within In-Patient rooms for patients and relatives/attendants, on a chargeable basis. Contact our Customer Care Executive for this facility.
We know that a serene and relaxing environment is a best place to have a baby. After all, giving birth is one of the most precious moments for a mother, and an occasion for her family to cherish. With this in mind, we have dedicated an entire floor to the sanctity of mother and child care. Our unique birthing suites are aesthetically designed with additional facilities to make childbirth a truly joyous, and smooth experience for every mother here. Easily convertible labour beds ensure optimum comfort, and avoid the tedious switch of rooms before and after delivery. All the luxuries of our suites make this an ideal place for your baby and family.
Special comforts like a reclining barcaloungers for each ICU patient's relative, and Wi-Fi facility on the floor offer relief during this stressful period. Outside food is strictly prohibited in the hospital, and patients are served well-balanced, vegetarian meals, along with the option of room service for the patient's attendants. The cafeteria on the 6th floor of IPD building is also a refreshing change to grab a bite.
